Case Details

Subject 447

Patient previously underwent a routine submuscular placement of a smooth round, 330 cc implants. She subsequently developed “bottoming out” which was not corrected by an initial repair attempt.

The patient came to Dr. Ferraro with very low implants with nipples sitting too high on the breast mound. Dr. Ferraro operatively repaired the problem by replacing the smooth implant with a textured implant to assure that the implant would stay where placed. Secondly, a double row of non-absorbable suture was placed to recreate the inframammary fold and hold up the implants.

Photos are taken 6 weeks after corrective surgery.
