Bottoming Out – Corrective Surgery

Case Details

As you can see from the photos above, this patient had problems following her first breast augmentation. She came to Dr. Baxter, a plastic surgeon in the Seattle, WA area, hoping he would be able to correct the problems. His analysis was that her last dual-plane sub-pectoral augmentation caused the edge of the muscle to form a band across the bottom of the breast. He was able to remove and replace the implants, solving this problem using two 465cc saline implants filled to 480cc’s. This improved the contour of the breasts, eliminating the bottoming out issue. She was very happy with the results of the corrective surgery.
