Case Details

This patient came to Dr. Baxter, a plastic surgeon in the Seattle, WA area, seeking corrective surgery following her last breast augmentation. She had problem issues such as rippling, and placement of the implant. She is a strong, thin, athletic woman, and her last doctor chose to place her implants above the pectoral muscle. After Dr. Baxter’s analysis, he decided that the implants were too far apart, and that her breasts needed better coverage, but the standard sub-muscular (below the pectoral muscle) technique would result in distortion with muscle flexion. To solve this problem, Dr. Baxter replaced her saline filled implants with silicone gel implants. When it came to placement of the breast implants he used dual planes (the implants were placed both above and below the pectoral muscle). As you can tell from the before and after photos above, Dr. Baxter did amazing work! Her breasts are now much more appealing, they are closer together, more symmetrical and definitely more natural looking.
