Breast Augmentation Corrects Asymmetry

Case Details

27 year old woman shown before and 3 months following augmentation with 275cc (left) and 250cc (right) implants via the areolar approach. Her scars are already virtually invisible. The patient preferred the areolar approach because she did not want to deal with an underarm scar. Dr. Rapaport emphasizes that the choice of scar placement is a personal one, and each patient should choose the approach with which she is most comfortable. In addition, note the pre-existing asymmetry, with the left breast notably higher than the right.
