Case Details

Correction of Asymmetric Breasts with Slightly Different Sized Implants During Breast Augmentation

The patient had asymmetric breasts, with the right breast being smaller than the left breast. Her left chest wall is more pronounced compared to the right side.  You can see this is the side view of the “before” photos.  After her breast augmentation surgery by Dr. Murphy, the symmetry between the breasts is better.

She is 25 years of age and is 5 feet 3 inches tall. She weighs 112 pounds.  Before her breast enlargment surgery, the patient was an A cup. After surgery, she is a very full C cup.  The breast implants are Mentor smooth, round, moderate profile saline breast implants.  The right breast is 475cc breast implant overfilled to 525cc.  The left breast is a 475cc saline implant with no overfill.  The placement of the implants is submuscular and the incision is periareolar.
