This 42-year-old woman was concerned about the her breasts being asymmetrical. Asymmerical breasts is very common and is when one breast is slightly larger or different shaped than the other. She went to Dr. Mark Epstein, a board certified plastic surgeon whose practice is in Stony Brook, NY, to have this corrected. Dr. Epstein made an inframmary incision during surgery which is an incision made along the breast crease. He placed the round, silicone gel filled implant under the muscle. He used a 304cc filled implant for the right breast and a 286cc filled implant for the left breast.
