I am 32 years old and have been married to my husband for 9 years. We have three children. I am 5’7″ tall, and have a medium build, weighing 125 pounds. I am a current state pageant titleholder, and recently competed in a national pageant.
I am very active, healthy, and work out with an excellent fitness trainer. However, I often wished that I was less pear-shaped. When I was younger, I was much more self-conscience of my proportions. In my mind, I felt that my upper body and lower body were mismatched…I am so glad I chose to have the surgery. Rather than continually wishing I had a better appearance, I did something about it. It gave me greater confidence at a very meaningful and exciting time in my life.
