Dr. Sutton Graham of Greenville, SC performed a mastectomy and breast reconstruction on this female patient. This patient was referred to Dr. Graham’s practice by her general surgeon. A biopsy had been done on the right breast previously and based on the results and her family history, she chose mastectomy and immediate breast reconstruction on both sides. Tissue expanders were placed at the time of mastectomy, and filled during office visits. Several months later, Mentor textured saline breast implants were placed. Subsequently the nipples and areolas were reconstructed. Board certified plastic surgeon Dr. Graham performed this procedure beautifully and the results are phenomenal as the before & after photos portray. The breast reconstruction improved the shape and a larger size was obtained. She is now healthy and looks wonderful in clothing.
