Dr. Melek Kayser of Roseville, MI performed a major breast augmentation and breast lift. This patient had severe ptosis (drooping) of the breast for which a mastopexy, also known as a breast lift, and 300cc breast implants using the new SPAIR technique was performed. This breast augmentation and breast lift took this woman from a 34A to a 34C. The excess skin was removed, the breast itself was lifted and reattached to the chest and the implants were placed beneath the muscle yielding a final result that is virtually indistinguishable from the patients preoperative appearance. There is no horizontal scar along the inframammary breast fold. The vertical scar is made only at the end of the procedure if an enhanced shape will benefit from it’s placement, otherwise, the breast would be left with a baggy excess, which is not ideal.
