Comments: I hope to be adding new editions after I have my breasts redone sometime this year.
Although my results have been less than outstanding, I think they represent a good age progression and what can happen after a complex redo from old silicone, encapsulated overs to unders. My surgeon warned me that she had no idea what condition my tissues were in because my nipple-areola complexes were possibly being held up by all the scar tissue. It turns out that I had some significant ptosis after the capsules were removed.
My story begin in 1989 at age 29 with Meme, polyurethane-coated silicone 350 cc overs. I had them removed in June 2005 and had my placement changed from overs to unders – Mentor Moderate Plus Smooth Rounds 500 cc.
Revision #1 to lower both creases was in September 2005
Revision #2 to lower the left crease was in February 2006
I am not sure what will need to be done to improve upon them aesthetically, but I have not given upon on breast implants! I do like how soft they feel now, but I don’t like how they hang on my chest, nor do I like the shape of the left breast.
I hope that this gives women an opportunity to see what can happen and that women don’t have to give up even after multiple procedures. Hugs, Laurie
