Case Details
Editor’s Note: This patient had surgery in 2003. She elected to use a pain pump after insertion of her breast implants to help control pain during recovery. A pain pump is a simple device that injects local anesthesia to the affected area thereby numbing pain during recovery. Most of our visitors who use pain pumps seem to think they help. Some rapid recovery surgical techniques that have recently become more widespread do not require a pain pump. You should ask your surgeon about both pain pumps and rapid recovery from breast implant surgery.
