Dr. Lettieri also offers extensive experience with the newly FDA approved cohesive gel implant (“Gummi Bear”) made by Allergen©. For over 10 years, Dr. Lettieri has been an investigator for both breast implant companies Mentor© and Allergen©. This has allowed him to do breast augmentation and breast reconstruction using the cohesive gel implants. Since Dr. Lettieri has been using the implants for over 10 years, he has first-hand knowledge about the devices and thier proper use for patients. Dr. Lettieri is the ONLY plastic surgeon in South Carolina who has been able to use both Mentor© CPG and Allergen© 410 implants.
