Breast Implants and Breast Augmentation Stories from our Visitors
If you have already read Nicole's Story, you have a pretty good idea what this section of the website is all about. After several women emailed their breast augmentation stories to us, we thought it would be great to have women share their full-length recovery stories after their breast implant surgeries for everyone's benefit. Thankfully, many women have contributed, some in more detail than others.
Here are the stories of our visitors. Many names have been changed for privacy. Where appropriate, there is detail in parentheses so you can decide if you are interested. Click on a name to read.
San Diego Breast Augmentation After Losing 72 Pounds
I was hunting and seeking to find a plastic surgeon near me when I lived in Southern California. I made appts to see some, would get the heebies, & finally came across Dr. Pousti. The second I was in his office I felt comfy, and well informed. The staff was amazing and the consult went incredibly wonderful. The first time I saw him was for Rhinoplasty (hated my nose for years) and a Breast Augmentation. (I had lost 72lbs and the boobs were the first to go!) He wanted me to be incredibly informed and didn't want to even operate on me until I met some of his patients. I got to see first hand the stages of the healing of a breast augment. I was able to see the different profiles, and sizes and shapes, and he made me well aware of what I was getting into.
At first I was shocked because of how how high and tight they were, but through the message techniques I was told to administer to my new girls, they are in a natural position today, and I'm proud as hell to tell people that they are courtesy of Dr. Pousti,
I love this man and his staff! They are so amazing and knowledgeable in what they do its just awesome. I recommend him to my friends, co-workers, anyone who will listen. In fact I loved his work so much, in Feb 2007 I underwent a full abdominoplasty. That loose flap of skin is gone! YEY! (That was a bit harder to bounce back from), I woke up after surgery to flowers and a balloon from the Dr, and him looking at me asking me how I felt and such.
Dr. Pousti is INSTRUMENTAL in helping me complete project Carrie. My last phase is a scar revisional and labioplasty this April. It is thanks to him that I am coming into the woman I always knew I could be. I was tormented over my nose, its fixed, lost my breasts, they're back, had a flap jack on my tummy, its gone, and I'm not going to lose that extra skin down yonder.
Dr. Pousti and his staff are one in a million. I have not a single thing bad to say. He has 3 offices in Southern California. I have unfortunately moved to the Palm Springs area, but I will always make that drive to Murrietta, or La Mesa to see MY Dr. I will go to no one else. Ever. if you want first rate service, and to be able to fully trust in your surgeon Dr Pousti is your guy.
Just for the record, I don't know about everyone else's breasts, but with Saline I know you can experience rippling in the later years. I'm not sure if silicon does this or not, and the gummy bear stuff I know doesn't. So make sure if your looking into new breast you know which ones to go for.
