“I was born in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin and spent most of my formative years growing up in Delavan, Wisconsin. During my junior year of high school, I lived in Santos, Brasil as an American Field Service (AFS) foreign exchange student. I met my wife Holly while I was a general surgical resident, and we were married in 1998 in Guttenberg, Iowa, her hometown. Shortly thereafter, we moved to Columbus, OH for my plastic surgery residency. We enjoyed Columbus a great deal, but moved back to Wisconsin because of this wonderful job opportunity, and to be closer to our families.
The kids are growing up quickly and continue to be very active. Klaire enjoys her friends, continues to improve in swimming, loves to bake, and is always happy to take a trip to the farm in Iowa. Dell loves his sports more than ever, and is a huge Packer fan. He continues to succeed in soccer, swimming, and baseball. Other favorites include playing football with his friends everyday at recess, eating ice cream, and Madden 12 and FIFA World Cup Soccer on the Wii. Kamryn also plays soccer and swims, and she has really improved since last year. She looks up to her older sister and brother and likes to be involved. She enjoys her lip gloss, eating sweets, listen to music, playing with friends, helping Daddy cook, and all berries (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, and blackberries).
I am lucky to share my life with my loving wife and children. My interests include bicycling, gardening, cooking, and a bottle of wine to match.”
