Dr. Fardo is a Pennsylvania-native who obtained his B.S. degree in both biology and engineering from Pennsylvania State University. After graduating, he received his M.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and was elected into AOA (The National Medical Honor Society), graduating with Honors. Both his general and plastic surgery residencies were completed at the University program at Grand Rapids / Michigan State.
Dr. Fardo then sought out the best additional cosmetic surgery training available and sought the illustrious cosmetic surgery fellowship program at the Cleveland Clinic. He also completed an Oculoplastic (eyelid) fellowship at PACES Plastic Surgery. Dr. Fardo is one of the very few surgeons nationwide who has formal training in both Plastic and Oculoplastic Surgery. He then went on to become an Attending Staff Physician at the world renowned Cleveland Clinic for three years. He specialized in cosmetic and Oculoplastic surgery at that facility. He is a board certified plastic surgeon and as a member of numerous medical societies, he has authored several scientific publications, textbook chapters and leads lectures at several industry meetings.
