A very gifted and highly skilled board certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon specializing in cosmetic surgery, Dr. Christian Prada attended Cornell University before getting his medical degree from the State University of New York Health Sciences Center. A general surgery residency followed, at Loma Linda University Medical Center, CA, and he then completed a 2-year fellowship in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Saint Louis University Health Sciences Center Division of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Prada then completed 1 year breast and cosmetic fellowship under the direction of 2 famous plastic surgeons, Scott Spear, M.D. and J. William Little, M.D. at Georgetown University Hospital, in Washington, D.C. Dr. Prada has learned the delicate art of micro fat injection to the face and body, during his intensive schooling and residencies.
Dr Prada returned to St. Louis in 2004 as an Assistant Professor in the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Saint Louis University Hospital. He was very active in both medical student and resident education and helped teach a course for physicians on blepharoplasty, brow-lift and mid-gace lifts. In 2006, Dr. Prada joined St. Louis Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Prada still maintains a clinical faculty position at St. Louis University and is involved in resident education.
Dr. Prada is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is an active member of many notable organizations. He currently serves as Vice President of the St. Louis Area of Plastic Surgeons and was recently elected member of Strathmore’s Who’s Who.
Dr. Chris Prada operates at St. Luke’s in Chesterfield, MO and at the C.S.A. outpatient surgery center. He stays well informed in his specialty through continuing study of the latest advancements in plastic and cosmetic surgery techniques. He remains involved in every stage of patient care, from initial consultation to post-operative visits.
Dr. Prada‘s primary interests are cosmetic surgery and fast recovery breast augmentation. He has a special interest in fat transfers to the face and body. Other procedures of interest include body lifts, abdominoplasty, Next day lift, peri-aerolar breast lift and power assisted liposuctioning.
In Dr. Prada‘s free time, he enjoys reading, working out and attending local sporting events. Dr. Prada has a beautiful son, named Jackson.
