Dr. Fater’s breast augmentation procedures consist of creating a space or “pocket” above or below the pectoralis muscle. He insterts a saline filled silicone prosthesis (implants) into the space. This increases the size of the overlying breast. The incisions are made in inconspicuous locations such as under the breast, along the nipple or underneath the armpit. Dr. Fater uses local anesthesia and performs his breast enhancement surgeries in an office suite. Most women are able to return to work within four to five days and resume full activity within three to four weeks.
