Dr. Marwan R. Khalifeh

Dr. Khalifeh focuses on the highest level of patient care and specializes in minimally scarring plastic surgery. Through his practice in the Washington D.C. area, his clients include socialites, politicians and area professions. He, therefore, understands the need of his patients to achieve natural looking results with minimal scarring.

Spending his undergraduate years at the prestigious University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA, Dr. Khalifeh graduated Summa Cum Laude, the highest academic level, and earned the Phi Beta Kappa distinction. He completed medical school in Nashville, TN, at the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. While there, he earned the school’s Top Spear Award and Alpha Omega Alpha distinctions.

Dr. Khalifeh completed his training in both his General Surgery Residency and his Plastic Surgery Fellowship at top-rated Johns Hopkins University of Medicine in Baltimore, MD, in the Plastic Surgery Program. After finishing, he became Assistant Professor and Co-Director of the Cosmetic Surgery Education Program at Johns Hopkins University, where he works two day every week instructing in the art of science of cosmetic surgery.

As a distinguished speaker and author, Dr. Khalifeh has published several research, book chapters in the field of plastic surgery, and been featured in multiple publications. He has received numerous scientific honors and distinctions, including being awarded a Top Rated Plastic Surgeon by 1800MYSURGEON.

He has hospital affiliations at Suburban Hospital and Sibley Hospital.
