I found my plastic surgeon because of ImplantInfo by Nicole. Dr. Bednar did an amazing job-he was referred to me by a friend who had her surgery done by him and who visited Nicole's website in the first place. I had severe pectus and did not know if anyone out there could make my breasts look like they are part of my body. He used the teardrop implants-he is one of the few doctors that has used this type of implant since inception. They look so natural and beautiful. Could not be happier with my results.

Hi Nicole, I want to thank you for a great and extremely helpful website. My sister in law had a BA and recomended your site, and it also pops up on every search I do. I saw Dr. Bednar's work on your site that looked great (and also saw some by another doctor who advertises in this area that did not look so great).

I appreciate all the help you and your website have been. It has been very helpful in explaining terminology, and different options. Its great to talk to women and hear their experiences. I has my BA on February 21, 2003 with Dr. Bednar.

There are 3 surgeons in the Charlotte area that are considered the top BA surgeons. I ruled one out based on the fact that you can also get manicures and pedicures in his cosmetic surgery/spa practice. As far as I'm concerned, this is a MEDICAL procedure, not just a another thing to do at the spa! Another doctor charges $300 for the consultation, and although I know some doctors do this, it makes me feel that he must have a lot of people not choose to use him and therefore has to make his doctor on the consultations. That may be skewed logic, but just a personal opinion.

There are several others but I wanted one that did lots of augmentation. Dr. Bednar has a great reputation, has great before and after pics, and I have seen some of his augmentations in person. When I went for my consultation, we watched a video, then went into the doctor's office. He went over what is involved with a BA, answered all my many questions, and those of my friend who will be my support through all this. He spent about 30-40 mins, answering our questions, and never seemed impatient even when made to repeat himself. Then we went into the exam room where he examined me, took measurements and analyzed my body structure. He told me what my options were, and why. Then they took several photos of my breasts. We were then given 2 large photo albums of pictures one of round and one of shaped implants. They were subdivided by resulting size difference.

When I chose the result I desired he discussed the decision with me and answered a few more questions. He and everyone on his staff was incredibly helpful and patient.
